With the following information we give you an overview of how we process your personal data and of your rights under data protection law.

Personal data and legal basis

We process your application documents and the personal data they contain. This includes, among other things, your name, your address, your telephone number, your e-mail address and your date of birth. The primary legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26(1) BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act).

Processing of personal data

When applying, you provide us with personal data as part of the applicant process. These data are divided into the following data types and categories: Personal details: first name, surname, date of birth, address, school-leaving qualification Communication data Telephone number, mobile number, e-mail, fax Applicant photo Curriculum vitae Data on level of education: school, vocational training, civilian/military service, university studies, doctorate career history, training certificates and employment references application history information on salary expectations data on assessment and evaluation within the application procedure

Use and disclosure of personal data

The personal data you transmit as part of your application are used exclusively to process your application for the advertised position. All persons who obtain knowledge of your data are involved in the application process. All employees who process your data are correspondingly bound to confidentiality. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your agreement, unless you have given us written consent to do so or a court order obliges us to disclose them.

Retention and erasure / inclusion in the applicant pool

Your data will be deleted automatically within 6 months of the conclusion of the specific applicant procedure. This does not apply where statutory provisions preclude erasure.If you have consented to longer storage, your data will be retained for the storage period set out in the consent (as a rule 2 years) and deleted thereafter.

Security

We have taken all the necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against loss of confidentiality, availability and integrity.

Right of access and right to object

You have the right at any time to free information about the personal data concerned and about the information listed in Article 15 GDPR. If you have given consent to a longer retention period for your application, you may withdraw it at any time without giving reasons.
