Challenge
Vet-Concept, a leading supplier of premium pet food, faced the challenge of coping with the growing complexity of its production and logistics processes. The company needed a scalable solution to support the construction of a new wet-food plant, optimize its development processes and make project execution more efficient. The existing Access solution was no longer sufficient and had to be replaced by a modern ERP system.
Solution
Enko Software GmbH rolled out Microsoft Dynamics Business Central as the ERP system at Vet-Concept. The solution was adapted specifically to the requirements of the wet-food plant and of manufacturing as a whole. Alongside a production module and production planning, a recipe management system and logistics management with best-before-date (MHD) monitoring and labeling were introduced.
This comprehensive solution digitizes and optimizes every relevant process, from production through to logistics, and ensures efficient, transparent execution.
